So many parents have asked me how they can help their child succeed in school. I would like to encourage each of you to read with your child. There's just no substitute!
Read to your child. Have your child read to you or siblings. Be the example of a reading adult.
They may not recall all you tell them, but they'll remember what they saw you doing! Let your child catch you reading!
Remember, a library card is free. A trip with your child once a week could become a treat you both enjoy!
