The American Academy of Pediatrics cautions that drowning is one of the top causes of injury and death in children each year in the United States. Parents can help prevent these tragedies by enrolling children in water safety courses and swimming lessons. In our community, the Everett-Milton and Butler-Mason YMCA locations offer swim lessons with year-round and seasonal options. Private, semi-private, and group lessons are available.
