🎪🎉 The 3rd Grade Carnival was a HUGE success! After working so hard during testing, our students got to celebrate in the best way possible with a carnival full of fun! Throughout the school day, students earned tickets through positive behavior, hard work, and participation, then cashed them in for games, prizes, and smiles all around.

Our 4th graders lit up the room...literally! Under the glow of blacklights and neon vibes, students danced, laughed, and celebrated all their hard work in true glowing style. From glow stick games and neon art to freeze dance and glowing smiles, the energy was off the charts!
It was the perfect mix of fun, friendship, and unforgettable memories as we headed toward the end of the school year. 💛💚💙

We had such a wonderful time welcoming author Kelly Young-Silverman to our school! Our students learned so much and had a blast listening to her story, Hot Boiled Peanuts: A Georgia Food Tour! She shared with our students what it means to be an author and encouraged them to never give up on their writing! She also reminded them that great stories often take many edits before they are finished.
We are also excited that she will be at The Bookshelf tomorrow, Saturday, May 2 at 11:00 a.m. for a special Story Time & Signing event! Kelly will read her book, which features Thomasville and the Big Oak, followed by a fun craft time for children. What a special opportunity for our community!

Some of our Jerger crew walked in the Rose City 5K Walk. They represented us so well, bringing energy, pride, and plenty of smiles along the route.
