🎨 Supporting Our Young Artists Across TCS! 🎨

Scholars Academy student Caroline Sanders, a member of the GA DOE Student Advisory Council, is giving back in a meaningful way—leading an art supply drive to support Harper Elementary’s 1st graders! 🖍️✏️

This student-led service project is a great opportunity for our high school students to make an impact while earning service hours. NHS students (Sophomores, Juniors, & Seniors) can receive 1 service hour by donating items from their grade-level supply list.

💛 Let’s come together as a Bulldog community to support creativity, learning, and our youngest artists!

🐾 Building connections and opening doors at Thomasville High School! 🔴🟡

We’re excited to keep the momentum going with our Networking Lunches in Mrs. Stanaland’s Career Class, where students continue to learn from community leaders and explore real-world opportunities.

Recently, representatives from the City of Thomasville visited to share ways students can get involved and grow through programs like CERT (Community Emergency Response Team)—providing valuable insight into service, leadership, and career pathways.

A special thank you to Ricky Zambrono, Pam Schalk, and Fire Rescue Chief Tim Connell for investing in our students and helping them see what’s possible.

This is Bulldog +1 in action—connecting learning to future opportunities.

Our paraprofessionals are the heart of our school ❤️

They care deeply for our students, support our teachers day in and day out, and are always ready to step in wherever they’re needed—whether it’s decorating for events, helping with arrival and dismissal, or jumping in at a moment’s notice.

We are so grateful for all they do… our school simply wouldn’t be the same without them.

Happy Paraprofessional Appreciation Day to these incredible team members! 👏✨

🏆🐾 Thomasville Landmarks Inc. Honors Thomasville City Schools with 2025 Achievement Award🔴🟡

Thomasville City Schools (TCS) is honored to announce that it has received the 2025 Achievement Award for a Contributing Addition to the Community, presented by Thomasville Landmarks Inc. This award recognizes excellence in new construction, rehabilitation, and landscaping that respectfully enhances the historic character of the Thomasville community. TCS was selected for the extensive work completed on the new Thomasville City Schools 6–12 Campus.

🏫Bridging History and Innovation
Located on the site of MacIntyre Park Middle School and the Scholars Academy, the new 6–12 Campus represents a vision of "seamless blending." In developing this state-of-the-art facility, school administrators worked diligently to ensure that new construction did not overshadow the site’s heritage.

"The Achievement Award for a Contributing Addition to the Community recognizes accomplishment in new construction, rehabilitation, and landscaping which respectfully brings positive improvement to the community’s historic character. Their goal of seamlessly blending new construction with heritage buildings has been fully accomplished."

🚀A Campus for the Future
By uniting 6th through 12th-grade students on one campus, the district has created a centralized hub for academic growth. The project’s success lies in its ability to offer modern, high-tech learning environments while preserving the architectural "soul" of MacIntyre Park.

📸Receiving the award for Thomasville City Schools is Director of Operations and Athletics, Jeremy Rayburn
