🏫✨ A Monumental Project for Thomasville City Schools ✨🏫 (Part 2)

We’re proud to reflect on the incredible transformation of our new Thomasville 6–12 School campus, a project that brings middle and high school students together on one unified site—honoring our past while building boldly for the future.

With the former high school building more than 50 years old, this project represents a major investment in our students and community. Construction took place on an active campus, with up to 700 students on site daily, and includes a three-story instructional building, CTAE facility, gym, kitchen and cafeteria, field house, major site improvements, and thoughtful renovations to two historic Scholars Academy buildings—beautifully blending legacy with modern functionality.

This past December, we celebrated this milestone with our official ribbon cutting, marking more than the opening of new buildings. These updates go far beyond brick and mortar, fresh paint, and new flooring. They bring new energy and revitalization to the heart of Thomasville City Schools—strengthening what defines us across academics, arts, and athletics.

This campus represents the past, present, and future of TCS—rooted in tradition, designed for today, and built to support the next generation of Bulldogs for years to come. 🐾❤️

Thank you to Parrish Construction Group and all our partners for helping bring this vision to life.

✈️🔥 Taking Flight with AFJROTC! 🔥✈️

On December 11, several Thomasville High AFJROTC cadets had the incredible opportunity to go flying with the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) — an experience that truly sets our program apart.

Through CAP orientation flights, cadets step beyond the classroom and into the cockpit to:
🛩️ Gain hands-on experience in real aircraft
📚 See how aerodynamics & navigation work in the real world
👨‍✈️ Strengthen leadership, teamwork & confidence
🌟 Explore future careers in aviation and aerospace

Whether soaring in a powered aircraft or experiencing the quiet glide of a CAP glider, these flights create unforgettable memories while reinforcing the shared core values of service, discipline, and personal growth.

This is a special and unique opportunity offered through the Thomasville High School Air Force JROTC program, giving our Bulldogs an exciting pathway to explore aviation and develop skills that last a lifetime. ❤️💛🐾

Way to go, Cadets! The sky is not the limit. 🚀
