🐾 Celebrating Our School Librarians 🔴🟡
While National School Librarian Day is officially tomorrow, we’re kicking off the celebration a little early today!
Our school librarians do so much more than manage books—they inspire a love of reading, support research and learning, and create welcoming spaces where students can explore, discover, and grow.
We are proud to recognize:
• Mrs. Stephanie Sharp, Scott Elementary
• Mrs. Michele Sedam, Harper Elementary
• Mrs. Jessica Norman, Jerger Elementary
• Mrs. Julie Brewster, Scholars Middle / MacIntyre Park Middle School
• Mrs. Allison Ponder, Scholars High / Thomasville High School
Their impact reaches every classroom, helping spark curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning in our students.
Thank you to our incredible librarians for all you do to support our schools and our Bulldog family each and every day.

Ms. Anderson’s 4th graders dove into the women’s suffrage movement and had their research papers on display while Thomasville High School brought SUFFS to life on stage. We loved seeing former Scotties perform and current Scotties’ work showcased together—community + learning = ❤️🎭

Laughter echoed, learning was in full swing, and our students showed up ready to give their absolute best during GMAS Saturday School. From focused moments of problem-solving to smiles shared between rotations, it was a beautiful reminder that when we create the right environment, our students rise every single time.
So proud of the hard work, dedication, and positive energy from both our students and staff. This is what commitment to excellence looks like at Scott! 💪📚✨

Mobley’s Masters of 4th Grade Mathematics just completed 10 adding and subtracting mixed-number problems — and we capped it off with a donut shop treat! 🍩🎉 Seeing students tackle mixed numbers with confidence was the best part.

Today, they invited us to watch them play on their home field—and what an experience it was! Our girls got to stand on the field during the national anthem, join in the pre-game chant, and were even recognized at the start of the game. To top it all off, they treated us to lunch!
We are so grateful for this special day and the positive role models pouring into our students. 💙
Go Nighthawks! 🥎

Students had a blast bringing a favorite story to life! After reading The Cat in the Hat, students created and used their very own character finger puppets to help retell the story.
They practiced sequencing the events, using character voices, and working together to act out the story. It was wonderful to see their creativity and storytelling skills shine!
Learning + imagination = a perfect day in the classroom! ❤️

St. Patrick’s Day at Scott Elementary was pure joy — rainbow-making crafts, leprechaun antics, and green as far as the eye could see.

🎉 The Royal Court will be announced on March 23rd!
💰 Then it’s on to Round 2, where our Royal Court will continue raising money to compete for the titles of King and Queen!
Thank you for supporting our school! ❤️

Yesterday was full of fun, creativity, and a little bit of mischief as the students teamed up with their families to design and build leprechaun traps! 🌈✨ From clever designs to imaginative details, we were so impressed with the effort and teamwork put into each trap. Mrs. Gainous set them up around the room, hoping to catch that sneaky leprechaun… but he may have been just a little too tricky! 🍀😉
Thank you to all of our families for your support and creativity—you helped make this day extra special for our students! 💚

School will return to normal operations on Tuesday, March 17.
We look forward to welcoming our Bulldogs back and seeing everyone at school tomorrow! 💛❤️
