🎉✨Miss V’s class celebrated the 100th day of school with fun and engaging centers that highlighted the students' incredible achievement of reaching this milestone. The students worked on a variety of activities, including making necklaces with 100 beads, stacking 100 cups, and writing about what they would want if they could have 100 things. They also counted 100 words around the room, tried to figure out how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop, read as many pages as they could up to 100, and worked on figuring out how many shapes could be made with 100. It was a day full of learning, celebration, and fun!📚💖 #100DaysOfSchool #ClassroomFun

🚨Important Weather Update🚨 Due to continued wintry weather conditions, Thomasville City Schools will remain closed on Thursday, January 23. The county-wide curfew has been extended until 8:00 AM Thursday. Icy road conditions continue to pose a safety concern, making travel unsafe for buses, staff, students, and parents. Additionally, our HB581 hearing scheduled for January 23 will be rescheduled. The hearing on February 3 will proceed as planned. ✨RESCHEDULED✨ The Thomasville City School’s Transition Fair is a free event for families of students with disabilities. It will provide valuable information on preparing for the future after high school. The transition from school to work or to secondary education is often difficult. Representatives from useful agencies will be available to speak with you on matters related to education and advocacy, medical and legal issues, counseling and care, vocational rehab and employment services, and more. The key to success is planning! Due to weather, this event has been rescheduled for February 20, 2025, from 5 - 7 p.m. at the Thomasville High School Cafeteria.
